Helen is passionate about raising awareness of this issue. Research shows that 10% of our society suffer from Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD).

There is a lack of understanding because Narcissists are masters of deception. Some Narcissists appear loving and giving and may even be perceived as pillars of society. The reality is that the Narcissist has another side that is self-seeking, manipulative, controlling, abusive and destructive.

The great news is that in January 2019, the Government provided legislation on ‘coercive control’, which is psychological and emotional abuse. This new legislation makes psychological abuse a serious crime.

Narcissistic abuse could affect any one of us in the home, at work, in romantic relationships and institutions or wherever relationships are formed.
